ISKSAA LEEDS TRAVELLING FELLOWSHIPS 2025

I'm writing to thank you for giving me the chance to take part in the ISKSAA LEEDS Travelling Fellowship in the UK. I feel honoured to have been selected as a recipient of this prestigious fellowship and it has been an amazing experience.

Throughout my journey, I have had the chance to learn from world-renowned experts in the field of orthopaedics. Dr. Sanjeev Anand, who mentored me during my tenure, is a very humble person. From the beginning to the end, when I applied for the fellowship, he was always encouraging. My knowledge and abilities have expanded because of being exposed to the various methods, techniques and practices used by Dr Anand and various consultants in Chappel Allerton Hospital, LEEDS. I got to see a descent number of surgeries covering the majority Upper limb and Lower limb procedures.

The procedures included soft tissue procedures of knee to hip, knee, shoulder and elbow arthroplasty procedures

I can now use these newfound abilities in my own practise. My wide range of experiences during this fellowship have helped me better understand the difficulties faced by orthopaedic surgeons across this part of globe, and I am confident that this will make me a better surgeon in the years to come.

My sincere gratitude goes out to the ISKSAA Fellowship Committee, Dr. Pushpinder and Dr. Lalit Maini for believing in my abilities and providing me with this invaluable opportunity. I also want to express my gratitude to my hosts and mentors, who have welcomed me into their practices and have been so kind with their time and knowledge. This fellowship has been an incredible learning experience, and I will always treasure the memories I have made along the way. I want to thank you one more for your support and I'm looking forward to continuing my journey in the field of orthopaedic.

Yours sincerely,
Dr. Vishnu Senthil
