I was selected for the prestigious Lancashire travelling fellowship 2024 under Dr makaram Srinivasan. My sincere thanks to Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj and Dr. Lalit Maini for the opportunity.

I had a great experience during my Lancashire travelling fellowship under Dr makaram Srinivasan.

I assisted and observed a wide range of cases, allowing me to expand my understanding of Arthroplasty techniques, especially shoulder arthroplasty with novel technique and implants.

Also I acquired the disciplines of NHS trust hospitals and expanded my horizon. Meeting new people and making new friends was an integral part of my visit. Learning about the work life balance in NHS and UK was something I would like to incorporate in my practice and would encourage my colleagues to acquire it too.

Dr. Srinivasan encouraged active participation, fostering an environment of collaboration and shared learning.

I am immensely grateful for the mentorship and guidance provided by Dr. Srinivasan, as well as the entire orthopaedic team at Blackburn and Burnley hospital.

I am highly thankful to Bajaj sir and Maini sir for helping young orthopaedicians nurture by giving such brilliant opportunity.
