Sir
I take this opportunity to convey my sincere gratitude to you, Prof Jegan Krishnan, Dr LalitMaini and the entire team of ISKSAA, for providing such a splendid experience. It was one of awesome comprehensive orthopaedic professional cruise to Adelaide.
Adelaide, a vibrant place with full of life in every domain and us having a chance to stay next to serene Belair national park exposed to beautiful countryside amidst sophistication of South-Australia.
Fellowship program was tailor-made to encompass entire gamete of arthroplasty and arthroscopy, Prof. Jegan was electrifying in pouring his robust surgical expertise, tons of academic experience and has always patronized our well-being professionally and personally in all sorts of trying conditions. His incredible Shoulder surgeries (Arthroplasties / Arthroscopies and open rotator cuffs / sub-acromial decompressions), Arthroplasty of Hip (The anterolateral exposure and the revisions) were captivating and certainly have boosted my confidence in fostering existing amateur skills.
And of course the fizzing, enthusiastic and crispy ACL’s n knee arthroplasties of Prof Mario Penta, swiftness of Dr Jasson ward, meticulous ACL’s and knee Arthroscopies of Dr Mat Liptak, Marathon revisions and finer intra-op adjustments of Prof Chris Wilson and short association with Dr Bain at Flinders’ bio-lab cadaveric workshops have infused wide array of armamentarium to my practice. Exposure at Flinders’ Bio-lab and orientation towards research methodology at IMRI does deserve a special mention.
Well, while in Adelaide it’s hard to miss out on Dolphin cruise at Glenelg, a visit to Kangaroo Island and victor harbor is inescapable, an escapade to country side wineries (McLaren valley, Barossa valley, Adelaide Hills, Shaw + Smith, Nepenthe Wines etc.), beautiful Handorf SA, cozy wild life at Cleland Conservation Park, shopping experience at Randal Mall and the famous Hayes chocolates are amongst the few which I recon one should cover in this short attachment.
I also like to take this opportunity, to request ISKSAA to have this fellowship accredited through AOA for the benefit of all the fellows, finances may be mutually backed partly by the candidate and ISKSAA.
Once again I would like to convey my earnest respects and gratitude to all the masters, To Prof Jegan Krishnan in particular and cheers to IMRI coordinating team (Daniel and Annika).
I also thank my friends and fellow partners in the journey Dr Neelan and Dr Srikanth for their unconditional support and cooperation during the stay.
Thank you once again
Look forward to close and active association with ISKSAA
With warm Regards
Santhosh
