I am so much grateful to Dr. Pushpindar Bajaj, Dr. Lalit Maini and ISKSAA organizing committee for selecting me for ISKSAA Liverpool UK travelling fellowship under guidance of Mr Vijay Bhalaik extending from 30th September to 10th October 2024.

The Fellowship was a great opportunity for me to see a variety of Orthopedic procedures in two hospitals of Wirral University Trust Hospitals. We got to see two hospitals Arrow park and Clatterbridge hospital under WUTH.

Mr. Vijay Bhalaik is a senior consultant at both these hospitals who has a keen interest and specialisation in upper limb trauma, arthroscopy and arthroplasty. He is a very polite, humble, dedicated, skilful surgeon and is always ready to help.

He was very cordial and friendly from the first day itself where he showed us the various places in the hospital premises and we got and idea how things really work here. We had the pleasure to see and learn from various other faculties also .

Reverse shoulder Arthroplasty, Shoulder arthroscopy procedures , various upper limb complex trauma and revision arthroplasty are to name a few.

Overall I had a very good experience here. We had the pleasure to see Liverpool city . We went to see Lake District also which had surreal fall experience.
