ISKSAA FRANCE TRAVELLING FELLOWSHIP 2022
I was extremely lucky to have an outstanding mentor . I could spend two weeks well learning nuisances of shoulder surgery. I reached Colmar,France on 5 th of June and stayed till 20 June 2023. Prof Pascal gleyze made it sure that I was taught the basics of clinical examination and surgery on one to one basis. This allowed me to bond with him as a fellow, pick his mind on difficult cases and achieve a very high degree of confidence in shoulder cases. I cannot imagine a better training experience than I received at colmar.
The ultimate goal of fellowship is to gain the technical skills, clinical knowledge, and hands-on experience to allow for a smooth, successful transition into clinical practice. With that in mind, my term at colmar could not have been more fruitful – and still managed to be the most enjoyable period of my training experience.
