This is Dr Kiran B M from Bengaluru practising as Visiting Consultant and Assistant Professor registered for isksaa lifetime membership with Number 2181. I would like to express my sincere gratitute to Dr.Pushpinder Bajaj, Dr.Lalit Maini for selecting me to ISKSAA JRC Australia Travelling Fellowship for the session July-August 2024. I am extremely respectful for Dr.Jegan Krishnan and Dr.Sunil Reddy for providing me the opportunity to learn and develop my knowledge and skills in the orthopaedic subspeciality of Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy throughout the duration of this JRC fellowship.

My whole fellowship course was held at Adelaide in Ashford Hospital,Calvary Central District Hospital and Northeastern Community Hospital for 3-4 weeks duration with weekend holidays . I felt lucky to have the opportunity to learn from Dr.Sunil Reddy,Dr.Aman Sood, Dr Swapnil(Bobby) Pandit and Dr Mario Penta with their skills, accuracy and easeness to make sure the successful outcome of every surgery perfectly . I could stop him anywhere before, during or after surgery to clear my doubts and he was always ready with a convincing answer and make sure that my query was answered. During the course of the fellowship I was able to assist him in Total Knee Replacement,Total Hip Replacement , Direct Anterior Approach , Revision Knee Replacement , Revision Hip Replacement , Robotic Knee Replacement, ACL Reconstruction, Meniscus Repair, Partial Menisectomy , MCL Reconstruction, MPFL Reconstruction, Rotator Cuff Repair Surgery, Subacromial Decompression Surgery,PHILLOS Plating,Reverse Shoulder Replacement,Distal Biceps Tendon Repair, 1st CMC Joint Reconstruction in total which helped me gain depth and knowledge in managing arthroplasty and arthroscopy cases. I would like to thank the Anesthetists,theatre staff,ward staff and doctors for helping me during the entire period of fellowship. Also like to thank Mr.Nick Kerrison and Mrs.Sarah Sain of IMRI Society who guided the for VISA , accommodation , advise about the schedules , travel , food and nearby spots who were there whenever we needed any help.

I had great time in travelling and picnic to many beaches,environment forest park,waterfall,Clubs,adventure park,streets,market,shopping malls and the whole adelaide town.

I am truly grateful to the exceptional experience had during this Adelaide IMRI Australia Travelling Orthopaedic Fellowship . Kudos to the organisers of ISKSAA for taking so much efforts to teach and expose our young doctors, giving extraordinary opportunities, with such a great platform worldwide to train,reshape career for best possible care . Long live ISKSAA.
