Centre - Cervisi Hospital, Cattolica, Unit of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery

Mentor - Dr. Paolo Palidini

Travel and accomodation - There is no direct flight to Cattolica, need to either land at Rome or Bologna , and travel by train to the city. Accomodation we had booked from online platform. It is better to take the stay at a walkable distance to the Hospital, and also easily available. Need to mention, got good help from the centres secretary for booking accomodation via email

Testimonial - The fellowship was a great learning experience and definately has helped me boost my practice in Shoulder pathologies. Our mentor Dr. Pladini along with his team of Shoulder consultants is keen to help you understand the Shoulder issues and treatment with surgeries. It a high volume centre with Minimum of 7 to 8 cases of shoulder surgeries per day. The infrastructure at the hospital is at par. The Shoulder Arthroscopy cases are done in lateral position and Reverse Shoulder cases in beach chair position. The list includes minimum of 1-2 reverse Shoulder cases and other Shoulder Arthroscopies, some Shoulder trauma cases in between. OPD is very helpful for leaning, language beign a barrier, but the consultants take extra effort to brief us on every case.
