I had the honor of completing a two-week clinical fellowship in orthopedics under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Gurinder Bedi at Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj. This experience provided me with significant exposure to both surgical procedures and outpatient orthopedic care.

Throughout my fellowship, I had the opportunity to observe a variety of orthopedic surgeries, ranging from joint replacements to trauma surgeries and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Bedi’s skillful approach to surgery and his emphasis on patient-centered care allowed me to learn not only the technical aspects of orthopedic surgery but also the importance of a holistic approach to patient management.

Additionally, I spent valuable time in the outpatient clinic, where I witnessed the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders. This hands-on experience greatly enhanced my clinical skills, deepened my understanding of orthopedic conditions, and improved my ability to communicate with patients.

I am immensely grateful to Dr. Bedi and the team at Fortis Vasant Kunj for this incredible learning opportunity. The fellowship has deepened my passion for orthopaedics and has given me a stronger foundation as I move forward in my medical career.
