ISKSAA OSWESTRY UK TRAVELLING FELLOWSHIP 2025
I had the privilege of attending a two-week fellowship in Oswestry, United Kingdom, from 1st to 14th April 2025.
This experience was highly enriching, offering excellent clinical exposure and the chance to learn from leading experts. I am especially grateful to Dr. Balain, Dr. Shashank, and Dr. Sudarshan for their exceptional guidance, support, and dedication to teaching.
During the fellowship, I observed a variety of complex surgical procedures and participated in ward rounds, academic discussions, and case reviews. These sessions greatly enhanced my understanding of both surgical techniques and patient care. The multidisciplinary approach and high standard of practice were particularly impressive.
The academic environment at Oswestry was welcoming, well-structured, and conducive to learning. Beyond the professional aspects, the opportunity to experience the local culture made the visit even more memorable.
I am thankful for this opportunity and would strongly recommend this fellowship to anyone seeking to learn new things.
