At the outset I would like to thank ISKSAA, Dr Pushpinder Bajaj, Dr Lalit Maini and Dr Kapil Kumar for giving me an opportunity to be a part of an extra ordinary observership program.

I reached Aberdeen and 1^st of April 2017 in the evening when it was drizzling there. The weather was very scary. But I'm grateful to Dr Kapil Kumar that he came to airport to pick me up and he dropped me at staff home. He put me onto Dr Samarth Mittal Who was doing his long-term fellowship with Dr Kumar. Dr Sam and his wife treated me like a guest and served me dinner. I started feeling at home on very first day.

Next day I had an opportunity to meet at least 8 to 10 Indians who were doing their fellowship training in different specialities. I really felt at home. Aberdeen had its elective orthopaedic unit within the campus itself and an much bigger emergency and all specialities Centre at Aberdeen Royal infirmary which was a few miles away from this staff home. Mr Kumar also used to practice at alpynhospital which was in the centre of the city. During my stay with Mrkumar I could witness total shoulder replacement, reverse shoulder and stemlessshoulder, hemi elbow arthroplasty, AC joint excision, AC joint reconstruction, superior Capsular reconstruction for an irrepairable cuff tear using pig skin graft, rotator cuff repair, instability repair and so many procedures.

Mr Kumar is a thorough gentleman and a fantastic shoulder surgeon. He is extremely good at his work and made time despite his very busy schedule to teach us and he was very friendly too.

The tips and tricks which I have learnt during my stay with Mr. Kumar will certainly be of great help in my clinical practice. I would like to thank once again Mr Kumar, Dr Pushpinder Bajaj & Dr Lalit Maini for giving me an opportunity to be a part of this fellowship programme.
