Hello sir ,this Dr Arnab Palodhy from Kolkata . I had been selected for Lancashire travelling fellowship in the year of 2019 but I completed in 2023.. Me with my two co -fellows Dr Kritesh and Dr Sumanth rented a house which was walking distance from BURNLEY GENERAL HOSPITAL.. We met first with Prof Makaram Srinivasan sir .. He welcomed us and briefed us about the two hospitals Burney general and Royal Blackburn hospital.. He introduced us with Prof Sarin sir, Prof Mohan sir and Prof Kamath sir . They were very kind hearted and skilled doctors I had ever seen..

We observed a lot of variety of surgeries ranging from shoulder scopy and total shoulder replacement , even proximal humerus fracture fixation with mini open method.. He is one of the stalwarts in shoulder although humble and soft spoken ..

Prof SARIN sir and Prof Mohan sir were so skilled in lower limb.. Prof Kamath was also excellent.. They did the replacements just like blink of an eye yet so precise and perfect.. We had a lot of chat on shoulder , hips and knees..

We attended OPD with MAK sir, Sarin sir and Mohan sir . We observed about their approach to the cases ..

I had stayed from22nd May to 23 rd June .

The knowledge I had gathered was really valuable to me..
