Respected sir,

At the outset I would like to thank Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj and Prof (Dr) LalitMaini for awarding me ISKSAA Biotek Travelling Fellowship 2019-20. I was fortunate to be a part of this prestigious fellowship program along with Lt Col (Dr) JPKhatri. This was a completely sponsored fellowship and the organisers made sure that the dates were finalised as per our choice and convenience.

This 1 week travelling fellowship was aimed to nurture the budding Arthroscopy surgeons like us under the able guidance of Dr Manoj Mehta, a renowned Arthroscopy Surgeon of national repute.

We reached Vadodara on 30/09/2019, the arrangements for our travel and stay were sponsored by the organisation team and the hotel was pretty near to the designated fellowship hospital.

The next morning we met our fellowship guide, Dr Manoj Mehta. He greeted us warmly and welcomed us to his humble institution. We had the opportunity to witness and assist a masterful surgeon during the fellowship period.

We were impressed by his skill, knowledge and his dedication towards his patients. We were fortunate to assist him in various surgeries like ACL reconstruction, PCL reconstruction, Multiligamentous Knee injury, Rotator cuff tears, Bankart repair, HTO etc. He was humble enough to answer all our queries.

The fellowship was not just an academic event as we had plenty of time in the evenings to explore the beautiful city of Vadodara. The entire stay was pleasant and was an enriching experience.
I’m extremely thankful to ISKSAA for providing us such an opportunity to hone our surgical skills. I highly recommend this fellowship program to other Orthopaedic surgeons who want to excel in advanced shoulder and knee arthroscopy.
