During my ISKSAA fellowship at NHS Wrightington, I had the opportunity to gain valuable exposure to advanced orthopaedic practices and patient care in a world-class clinical environment. I observed surgical procedures, multidisciplinary teamwork, and patient management protocols that highlighted the institution’s commitment to excellence and innovation.

The experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of clinical practice, enhance my appreciation for structured healthcare delivery, and witness the wisdom of Sir John Charnley, and the place itself being the birthplace of arthroplasty. I was particularly inspired by the professionalism, dedication, and collaborative spirit of the medical team, which reinforced my aspiration to pursue higher surgical training.

This opportunity has been a pivotal step in my professional journey, motivating me to aim for further development of my skills and contribute meaningfully to the field of orthopaedics.
