My plans for fellowship started after discussion with Dr. OfirChechik who helped me finalizing the fellowship dates and also guided me to search for an accommodation.

Dr. EranMaman welcomed me on my arrival at Sourasky Medical Centre and also gave an idea about the fellowship programme. Dr. YarivGoldstain took efforts to make me familiar with the campus of the center.

I started attending ORs very next day and got an opportunity to meet Dr. OferRak who with his great sense of humor quickly made me part of the Department! I also got opportunity to attend clinics, to observe how out - patients were being managed and treated. I was thoroughly impressed by the detailed clinical examination and diagnosing skills of Dr. Maman and Dr. Rak.

Sourasky Medical Centre being the largest shoulder unit in country, I got the opportunity to see spectrum of shoulder cases including trauma, sports injuries, and arthroplasty. All my doubts would be discussed with great enthusiasm by all the faculties.

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend few hip and elbow arthroscopies with Dr. UdirRath who helped me understand basic steps in hip scopy. I got the chance to attend weekly shoulder meet with legendry Dr. GabrialMoses. Dr. Maman was very kind to arrange my visit to Asuta Medical Centre and Ramat Aviv Medical Centre with Dr. Moses, where he demonstrated his techniques of cuff repair with arthrotunneler, arthrosopicLatarjet, spacerarthroplasty.

All the hospital staff especially Shiri and residents were very helpful and kind.

All in all it was an incredible learning experience for me to visit Israel. I wish I could stay longer.
