ISKSAA MOHALI FELLOWSHIP 2019
First of all I express my gratitude to Dr. Manit Arora Sir & Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj Sir for giving me this opportunity. My fellowship tenure was for 4 monthsfrom 1st of November to 29th of February.
During this period I learned about thorough details of clinical examination, MRI interpretation, patient management protocol apart from the surgical skills which sir used to describein detail. We used to have discussion after cases about the challenges, tips & tricks of the surgery. It was a new experience to learn about sports injuries along with the shoulder & knee arthroscopy.
During my fellowship period I saw variety of cases including RC repair, SAD, Bankarts repair, SLAP repair, ACL repair/reconstruction, Meniscal repair, ankle ligament reconstruction etc. I was actively involved in the two study project which we conducted during that period.
Apart from this my additional duty was to attend outside clinic & camps in nearby cities which I enjoyed a lot as I explored many new places of scenic beauty. It was a great learning curve for me and was a memorable period for the lifetime. I enjoyed every moment of my time during the stay at beautiful city Chandigarh.
My sincere thanks to Dr. Manit Sir as he was always there to help mewholeheartedly in all regards. I could discuss everything with him very openly even if it was a silly doubt. I would like to thank each of the team member including Dr. Samar, Dr. Avinash, Dr. Murad, Jazz, Annie & other hospital staff for their hospitality.
I thank the ISKSAA team for providing me this opportunity to prepare myself in the field ofArthroscopy. This fellowship has boosted my confidence so much. I look forward to be an active participant of ISKSAA as a student and as a member for continuous learning.
