With utmost sincerity, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj and the ISKSAA team for granting me the invaluable opportunity to enhance my skills under the mentorship of Dr. Jatinder Kumar Singla through the ISKSAA Mohali Max Travelling Fellowship.

During my tenure from September to October 5th, 2024, I was fortunate to witness and actively participate in a diverse range of cases, including total knee replacement (TKR), unicondylar knee replacement (UKR), revision surgeries, shoulder arthroscopy, biceps tendon avulsion repair, and sports injury cases. Dr. Singla made sure I was involved in every aspect of patient care—both in the OPD and IPD settings—and allowed me to assist in nearly every surgery, where I gained hands-on experience with techniques like the subvastus and midvastus approaches.

Dr. Singla’s commitment to teaching was remarkable. He consistently guided me through each procedure’s critical steps and shared insights on his preoperative and postoperative planning. In addition, he generously shared his personal experience and advice on building a successful surgical practice. This mentorship has been transformative for my professional growth.

I am also grateful to Dr. Singla’s dedicated team and Max Hospital for their unwavering support throughout my fellowship. This experience would not have been possible without their collaboration and encouragement at every step.

Once again, I extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Bajaj, Dr. Singla, and the entire ISKSAA team. I look forward to further opportunities to contribute to the field and build on the knowledge I have gained through this fellowship.
