ISKSAA BIOTEK TRAVELLING FELLOWSHIP 2024
I was selected to be a part of the ISKSAA Biotek Travelling Fellowship in November 2024. I am extremely grateful to Dr Pushpinder Bajaj, Dr Lalit Maini and all the ISKSAA members for considering me for this opportunity.
The fellowship was a One-week program under Dr Satish Patel, who is a joint replacement and arthroscopy surgeon at ZYDUS Hospital, Ahmedabad.
Dr Satish is very kind and a humble person. He is the master of the field with a very long experience and a thorough knowledge. The discussions were stimulating and quite helpful for the smaller details which are often unseen in daily practices.
I gained a wide exposure to various arthroscopic procedures including shoulder, acl, root repairs to name a few. The hospitality and the welcoming nature made the experience even more pleasant. I am looking forwards to include the practices and knowledge to my work.
I am thankful to the BIOTEK team as well for making the arrangements hassle-free.
