It was a great experience to be a part of ISKSAA. I am indebted to Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj (president) and Dr. LalitMaini (chairman) of ISKSAA, who gave me the platform to learn from good arthroplasty and arthroscopy surgeons.
I would like to thank the executives of ISKSAA for granting me ISKSAA FORTIS-ISIC DELHI FELLOWSHIPS 2017.

During my two week observership, I spent around 1 week (1st to 9th june 2018)inFortis Hospital, VasantKunj, Delhi under guidance of Dr. GurinderBediand 1 week(18^th to 23^th june 2018) in ISIC, Vasant Kunj, Delhi under guidance of Dr. Bhushan Naraini.

Dr. Gurinder Bedi is kindhearted, humble, friendly and a great teacher and an excellent clinician. During my observership at Fortis, I had an opportunity to sit at outpatient clinic with him. Ihad seen a wide variety of cases like sports injury patients, OA knee patients, spine patients, foot and ankle patients etc. I had always worked in a government hospital, where there is a lot of rush in OPD, and we hardly get time to learn good doctor-patient interaction skills. Apart from improving on my clinical examination of various cases, I had learned the skills of interacting with a patient in a better way. Dr. Bedi also organises, seminar every weekend and we had discussions of various difficult cases. I also had the opportunity to assist Dr. Bedi in knee arthroplasty and knee arthroscopy surgery. I had learned a few good tricks of knee arthroplasty and arthroscopy from him. Im also thankful to other members of Dr. Bedi team viz. Dr. Vishwadeep Sharma, Dr. Shuvendu and Dr. Varun. Dr. Vishwadeep, had taught me tips and tricks of arthroscopic repair of rotator cuff tear and also arthroscopic ACL reconstruction. I also got the opportunity to observe pedicle screw fixation done by Dr. Bedi and Dr. Varun and learned minimally invasive technique of posterior spinal fixation.

Dr. Bhushan Naraini at ISIC hospital is a very good clinician and an excellent arthroplasty surgeon. I had learned tips and tricks of knee and hip arthroplasty from him. He had an exhaustive list of arthroplasty surgeries almost daily. I had the opportunity to assist him in a few knee arthroplasty cases. Apart from primary TKR, I also learned complex primary TKR and revision TKR.

I am also thankful to Dr. Shivam, who is in Dr. Nariani’s team. He also taught me a few things about knee arthroplasty.

Overall, this fellowship gave me the opportunity to learn a lot of things about, knee and hip arthroplasty and also knee and shoulder arthroscopy surgeries.

Im again thankful to Dr. Gurinder Bedi and Dr. Bhushan Naraini for teaching me knee and hip arthroplasty and also knee and shoulder arthroscopy surgeries. Im also thankful to Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj and Dr. Lalit Maini who gave me this opportunity.
