I was selected for the ISKSAA travelling fellowship in 2024, which took place from October 21st to November 1st, 2024. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj, Dr. Lalit Maini, and the entire ISKSAA team for providing me with this incredible opportunity.

The fellowship was a comprehensive 2-week program at Bedford Hospital's South Wing, expertly coordinated by Mr. Manoj Sood. Bedford Hospital is a renowned tertiary care center, offering specialized trauma and elective services. I had the pleasure of sharing this experience with my colleague, Dr. Deepak Kumar.

Our journey began with a thorough orientation by Mr. Manoj Sood, who introduced us to the hospital staff and familiarized us with the department. Throughout our stay, Mr. Sood ensured that we gained extensive exposure to both elective and trauma cases, sharing his invaluable expertise and providing insightful discussions on preoperative and postoperative care.

We also had the privilege of interacting with and learning from esteemed consultants, including Mr. Dan Arvinte, Mr. Y Shankarappa, Mr. Sunil, and Mr. Narada. The consultants generously shared their time and expertise, guiding us through complex surgeries and offering valuable feedback.

During our 2-week tenure, we were exposed to wide range of procedures, including primary TKR, THR, Revision THR, Knee Arthroscopy, and various trauma cases. The morning trauma meetings provided invaluable insights into the significance of multidisciplinary patient care.

This experience has been a game-changer for my professional growth, and I am deeply indebted to ISKSAA for selecting me.
