First of all I congratulate you and your team for the successful completion of the ISKSAA 2013 Symposium last month.
I have attended ISKSAA 2012 as a delegate and ISKSAA 2013 as Free paper presenter. It was a great experience to interact with so many of the Stalwarts in these Sub-specialities and I take this opportunity to personally thank your team for excellent organisational skills and unbiased assessment of the paper presentations. The Faculty were extremely enthusiastic in the discussions and the Skills Workshops. I also took part in the Orthoquiz and felt quite young literally to interact with many from the younger generation. I could gather that the younger generation who have to take the baton forward are highly dedicated and enthusiastic in the technical matters. The events which I enjoyed the most were the Live-demonstrations and the Panel discussions which gave me an insight of the decision making skills of our elite Orthopaedic Surgeons.
I have to personally thank Dr.Lalit Maini for straightaway conducting the interview for Fellowship on request as I had to catch my return flight on 24-02-2013 afternoon. This reflected simplicity and straightforwardness inspite of being high up in the success ladder.
Sir thank you once again for enlisting my name in the waiting for the 2 weeks fellowship programme in New-Delhi under care of Dr. Lalit Maini. I earnestly look forward to know more from yourself regarding this matter.
I always feel that there is ever increasing opportunity for improvement and innovation. I feel it is appropriate to make following suggestions.
- As the members number increases, there may be a need for regional aspirations to be complied with in the future.
- A booklet of the Abstracts of the discussions in the Symposium could be beneficial for those of us who missed the deliberations in the other Halls.
- A Journal type document could be developed on yearly or half-yearly basis which can accomodate the pioneering work being done by the members.
- Continue to provide us the unedited versions of the Live-demonstration videos in the CD.
