ISKSAA DELHI FELLOWSHIP 2021
Duration 6 months (04-01-2022 to 04-07-2022).
I was working as Senior Resident at Government Medical College, Jammu when I was given this opportunity
to
work as fellow under Dr. Pushpinder Singh Bajaj.
I came to Delhi with the expectations of learning Arthroscopy of Knee and Shoulder. Every one of my
expectations was exceeded as I also got to learn Knee Arthroplasty and trauma cases apart from
Arthroscopy
of Knee and Shoulder. I've never seen a more dedicated and hardworking surgeon as Dr. Bajaj even at his
peak
stage. I have never seen a surgeon so dedicated to pass medical education to the coming generations of
Orthopaedic Surgeons. There were excellent pre-operative and post-operative protocols which were
strictly
followed. I got the opportunity to learn how to manage patients in private sector and in a well equipped
infrastructure.
I also want to thank Dr. Lalit Maini, a very humble personality for giving me the opportunity to assist
him
in trauma cases.
I also want to thank Dr. Deepak Joshi, a dynamic surgeon for giving me opportunity to see different
Arthroscopy at his institute.
The staff at Bajaj Specialist Clinics is an excellent group of passionate, fun, skilled and dedicated
professionals especially Dr. Ovesh Talashi, the physiotherapist, I thank him for teaching me
rehabilitation
protocols and helping me during the tenure of my fellowship there.
This was the best learning experience of my career. I am grateful for my duration as a fellow under Dr.
Bajaj and I consider it as a career and life changing experience.
