First of all we are grateful to the Whole ISKSAA team for extending their support for guidance and completion of ISKSAA Buckinghamshire travelling fellowship. We are thankful to Dr. Lalit Maini and Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj who guided us and helped us throughout.

Dr. Shibu Krishnan was our coordinator for the fellowship. He was very welcoming and friendly to both of us. He had made a constructive 2 weeks fellowship program for us so we could get to see maximum number of surgeries and get to interact with maximum number of consultants.

He even arranged for us to visit Stoke Mandivle Hospital which was the trauma centre of the hospital we also got to observe complex trauma surgeries there which was an added advantage.

We had wonderful time with various consultants and there fellows and they explained the procedure which they follow at NHS. We had an excellent platform where we could discuss various topics with Dr. Shibu Krishnan, Dr. Johnstone, Dr. Baring, Dr. Mann

We got to observe and learn various surgeries such as Primary Knee Arthroplasty, Revision knee Arthroplasty, Primary Hip Arthroplasty, Revision Hip Arthroplasty Knee Arthroscopy – ACL Reconstruction, meniscus repair

Dr. Shibu Krishnan put in a lot of effort so that we can get maximum advantage of the fellowship. He was always approachable during our stay there. He tried to take us to his private clinic as well so that we can observe maximum number of cases. He took us to his OPD also and told us about the working system of OPD in UK.
He took us to his beautiful home and then took us out for dinner with his family.
Overall we had a very wonderful time in UK. We would like to thank ISKSAA and Dr. Shibu Krishnan for giving us the opportunity for the same.
